JWL's before and during pic #1

Post by JWL » Mon Jul 24, 2006 7:21 pm

Greetings all! In the spirit of the before/during picture fest, here's my version:

Image

I have both my 10# and my 16# sledgehammer on my shoulder, and you can also see my old belt with the notches cut into it. Not sure what my weight was in the first picture, but I figure I'm probably down about 50 lbs since then, minimum. Possibly more. Still have a long way to go, but I'm certainly stronger than I've ever been....

That is quite a difference! Now I'm getting inspired to post some photos! Maybe I'll get a sledgehammer tat first. 8)

Anyway, I think you should be very proud of yourself.

I must say that's quite impressive. Both the actual loss as well as sticking with it for a year.
Before criticizing someone, you should try walking a mile in their shoes. Then you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

Awesome! - congratulations. You must be happy with that. Man, can you imagine how much gyms or some weight loss program would have charged you for that sort of weight loss? Great inspiration to stick with it - thanks James!

Phil.

Inspiring and impressive. Quite a journey.

Thank you SO much for posting your pictures! I remember you well from when I first joined, about a year ago, and here I am with nothing to show for another year's worth of crazy diets, and here you are having succeeded on something I figured was so easy and delicious it couldn't possibly work.

I feel greatly encouraged and am so happy for you.
