Three Years of Trying the No S Diet

Hi,
I first heard about the No S Diet back in April of 2014. I've tried at least fifty times to make it work for me. I'm know for being tenacious and wanted to keep trying. This last time I failed, I realized for me I have to do the No S Diet differently. I thought about how I could consistently make the program work for me. This is what I came up with. I have consistently followed these rules since Saturday and I feel great and not anxious at all. Completely different then my attempts in the past at following the No S Diet.
Here is what works for me.
SNACKS: For me I have to earn green day's even on Saturday's, Sunday's, and special occasions. It's just how my brain works. So no matter what day it is snacks are completely off the table.
Sweets: I keep to the program and only have sweets occasionally on S Day's.
SECONDS: For me usually I keep to just one plate of food. I noticed especially at dinner, that I want just a bit more food to eat. This might be because when I was young, food was not always available and I went to bed hungry. So I'm giving myself some grace and allowing myself a bit more. I'm noticing though that the bit more food is becoming less and less, but I always want the option.
I would rather consistently follow these rules for myself than give up and binge eat on sweets for a week because I feel bad. I might never be a member of the 21 day club or be on the testimonial page, but it works for me and that's what matters.
