I have decided to join in this month :D
I have been invited to a three course dinner on the 6/02/17 so that will be a s dinner event.
I split my lunch into three because of plane travel on the 7/02/17 and even though I don't think I overate it felt very snacky.
I took the day off on 15/02/17 because I was sick and ate all day :-)

I'm taking Feb 14th as a NSW day - Valentine's Day might need a little sweetener :)

Friday 3rd - I was OK until 10.30pm when I chose to 'test' my freshly-baked cookies (they were for Saturday & Sunday - I ate three!)
Monday 6th - I wondered about having a NWS day - but, no, it's a red day - peanuts at coffee-time
Wednesday 8th - afternoon snack - I seem to have been hungry this week!
Friday 10th - same as Friday 3rd except that I only ate one!
Friday 17th - getting to be a habit! I'll have to stop baking on a Friday
Tuesday 21st - late eve at work - I finished off cookies left-over after the staff meeting

Hoping for more green than red this month! On a getaway the 6-8. Will probably take 6 th and 7 th as NWS days. 2/1: this is one of the days I spend four hours driving. Peanut m&m's kept me company. Need a better game plan for these travel days.

i'm in and I'm also 2 days into the 21 day club!

I'll just do my calendar one day at a time. I seem to have technical difficulties with my emoticon always going to the end of my text vs in the calendar (if that makes sense??!!! ie, when I take out a number to replace it with a emoticon it ends up at the last place I typed).

Tracey, it does that to mine, too. I cut and paste ":mr green:" who is on the end of my post, onto the highlighted date. If I miss a few days, I copy and paste until the last date - then I cut and paste.

I'm totally new here and starting as of today! Count me in!

I've added a couple mods. I'm okay during the day and with no sweets at any time. I'm an emotional eater at home. I do use food as a stress relief and I enjoy it thoroughly. I have to behave even on S-Days.
  • 1 Small healthy snack a day if needed - 1 fruit, a couple of crackers, or protein before exercising

I don't really go for sweets on birthdays or special events. I'm about savory carbs and lots of them. So, if needed, I allow myself two times a month exempt or "E-days" for if I'm sick, extremely stressed, or emotional. (before I started No S Diet, I was extremely stressed at work and even though it was on one plate, I had an extremely yummy and unhealthy lunch. Technically, it's still a green day, but to me, this would be an E-Day due to unhealthy eating.) These two E-Days will have no restrictions. I need to even just know that it's an option.
2/2 - Totally used my optional snack to not snack on office chicken wings and a plethora of dipping sauces. I had 5 cucumber slices with a bit of tomato, thin sliced cheese and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. MUCH better than fried chicken and bleu cheese dressing with sugar laden Asian sauce.

2/5 - Even though it's an S-day and I was sick, I view it as a failure. However, it could have been worse. I noticed that it was difficult for me to eat what I really wanted to. I've been training my body to eat healthy and when I ate unhealthy, I was up all night with stomach issues.

2/6 - I'm already marking this as a failure even though I'm sick. It's not going to be a healthy eating day in the slightest.

Going to add a mod this month. Last month I added a smaller plate. I'll keep that, and add a sweet with the meal, since my S-days are still not where I want them. If this doesn't work, I'll drop it, mid-month if I have to.

8) :mrgreen:21  23 24 8)

Day 10: 2 crackers while making crumb topping for meal
Day 21: 1/2 chocolate shake and fries, later after dinner
Day 27: 1/2 slice of home made bread and butter. Son saved me or it would have been the whole slice.

I'm joining. I haven't gone more than 6 days without a fail since last October

I made a few changes a few weeks ago & have pretty much been vanilla since than with a few of my own little isms like I eat 3 meals a day all 7 days & week & rank my fails to keep me away from WTH days (:

2/3 S(ki) day 8) Vanilla Latte, Wings, & Donuts were the S treats 8)
2/4 8) Ahi Nachos for an appetizer 8)
2/5 8) Super Bowl Fritos & chili dip, apples & dip, hot wing dip 8)
2/7  apples & dip after I finished dinner & a Ben & Jerrys ice cream for dessert (totally worth it LOL)
2/9  4 squares of dark chocolate & Cheerios for dessert, seconds on salad. Bigger than normal fail but not a disaster. I'm blaming hormones!!
2/10 S(ki) day (kids were off) 8) chili cheese fries & nachos, 2 girlscout cookies for dessert
2/11 8) dark chocolate, yogurt & grapenuts for after dinner snack
2/12 Nothing S worthy so kept it an N day. I always CAN take an S day on a Sat & Sun, but sometimes they end up green & I always count them as green when that happens :D
2/17 S(ki) day. Too many of these this month but when we have friends come & stay with us Friday night is hard to keep N Day rules. Donuts, seconds on Pizza & a tiny bit of popcorn when we got home from dinner that wasn't needed :D
2/18 snickerdoodles my daughter made & seconds on dinner
2/18 appetizers before dinner & a snickerdoodle for dessert

This month has been going okay. Hormones messed me up but I seem to be back on track. Some months PMS makes me an idiot around food :D

I don't know how to do the thing with the calendar that you guys are doing, but so far this month, I have only N's and S's in my paper notebook, so I am shooting for a February with no F's! (That's how I do it. <3)

Good for you!

What I always do is quote someone who has a calendar set up. Then use the mouse to copy just the calendar part, erase everything else, and then paste the new calendar. Then I can customize it to whatever I have going on that month.

You can also just type in the dates, copying is just faster :-)

Had a red this Monday after 2 months with no reds! I was eating a meal of left-over nachos after the superbowl and had more dip than chips on my plate, and went back for seconds on chips to finish off my dip without even thinking about it! LOL, oh well. Better the rest of the week! I hope everyone else is having green weeks & hanging in there!

The 16th had some "seconds", but not too bad.
The 28th was a rough rough day, and unfortunately I ended up having seconds. So 3 slipups for first full month.
I guess my goal for March will be for less than that. :)

My son was so nice as to have his birthday on a weekend this year! BUT...how is it that my weight is down since Saturday, when on Sunday I had two 6" sub sandwiches, chips, cake, and ice cream (twice)? I did miss breakfast (not on purpose, just happened that way), but still--I expected it to at least be the same as Saturday after all that! The body is goofy sometimes! (Not complaining if it "holds" mind you, just finding it uncharacteristic!)

that type of "unexplainable" scale readings happen more often than not, as you have noticed...
it is the reason i weight 1-max2 times a week... and in the last couple of monts even much less... the only thing that i keep constant is to, when i weight myself, i do it first thing in the morning after the toilet, in night clothes and before any fluid or food intake...

but the fact that it is more down when it "should" have been up i interpret that downward and weigh loss tendency is stronger with you now than weight gain... so great news, merry! :)
