How will you deal with Easter?
What are your traditions? Will there be a special meal? Will you get chocolate as gifts and, more important, will you keep it in order to be able to eat it on S days even if it's a lot?
I'll probably eat out with my family and we'll exchange small chocolate gifts. I'll probably be gifted a lot of chocolate from people at work too (have already been gifted about 400g already). In my country Easter is almost as big as Christmas.

I will not get an Easter basket or candy. I get one for my kid, but my boyfriend is Jewish, and it would not occur to him. This weekend, we will have a big Passover meal on Saturday, with plenty of indulgences and a lot of wine.
My kid doesn't like chocolate too much, so I don't bother getting her any chocolate for Easter. In fact, I may fill her basket with art supplies this year. I think she would prefer it.

yeah, I keep picking at chocolate once I've started.
My plan is to have my usual Sunday pancakes, with berries and coconut cream for breakfast.
Main meal is going to be baked sweet potato, with Mexican beans and spinach.
I do like the spiced Hot Cross Buns - I might buy myself ONE from the bakery to enjoy in the afternoon.
I'm planning to buy some raw chocolate treats - we have a raw chocolate shop locally who make lovely bars which are raw cacao, nuts, lucuma, maca that kind of 'superfood' stuff. Reckon I'll get myself a couple of those (they're about 25g each). And because I'm not working, I think I'm going to have alcohol as my 'treat' - maybe whisky & ginger, or something like that - pre-mixed in a can, so I don't have it hanging around the house afterwards.
I recently trashed a whole load (about 2kg) of broken Easter eggs at work! I'm not expecting anyone to give me chocolate.
However, I received an Easter card from my brother & sister-in-law today, which says 'hope you get lots of chocolate!'

I'm going to follow Gill's lead and have pancakes, but not near so virtuous; mine with syruo. I'll have them in a restaurant. with witnesses I'll smuggle in some cocoa powder and try to sneak some in between them.

Re: How will you deal with Easter?
We used to get giant Easter baskets from an aunt and uncle. Our parents gave us much smaller gifts. My aunt hovered around 300 pounds. One day my mother and I were visiting my aunt and she asked if I wanted some ice cream. I said no several times. Finally she made a big bowl of ice cream and placed it in front of me. My mother clearly didn't want to upset my aunt, so ate it.

I meant to say that I ate it.
