Due to massive spam, I recently upgraded the bulletin board, and have it configured so that I have to approve all new users.

The problem? I got 135 requests in the last few days since the upgrade, and I am sure the vast majority are spambots.

Until I figure out a more elegant mechanism for dealing with this, please email me if you are an actual human being and I will approve your new account.

I am in! Thank you so much for helping me out. I need to get back on the No S Diet. I am re-reading the book. Trying to figure out how I lost my way. I definitely have my cravings so here we go again!

It might be a good idea to add this announcement to the shovel glove forums as well. Took me a while to spot this, as I primarily wanted to discuss shugging.

You are fight, Duncan. I'm glad you figured it out anyway. I'm hoping to have this fixed in the next few months, but a temporary announcement is easy enough to add.
