Was Valentine's Day an S-Day for you?

Post by florafloraflora » Thu Feb 15, 2007 4:02 pm

I ask because I ate some (2) V-Day cookies a friend baked for me yesterday, but it was more because I was moping (my sweetie is in another state) than because I was actually celebrating. But it was a national holiday in the US. I hadn't planned to celebrate it, but when I found the cookies my friend had left me I thought it would be OK to eat them. So I don't know whether to count this as a success or a failure.

It's an S-day, and like Halloween, an S-day that's largely about S. So relax, you're fine.

(unwittingly) apropos my recent podcast, my wife got me a 10 POUND CHOCOLATE BAR from Trader Joe's for valentines day. I had no idea such things existed. The perfect present for a diet guru!

 The question is, what happened when you picked it up and then stepped on the scale?

If you ever doubt the existence of a food item, check Trader Joe's. Incredible place.

For me it was an N day - though somebody at work did bring in cupcakes, so I did have one of those.
Before criticizing someone, you should try walking a mile in their shoes. Then you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

My wife decided it was a small "s" day, like in Valentine"s" Day.

Not for me. We celebrate our wedding anniversary in March instead.

I took an S day. We went out to a Mexican restaurant. You know, I enjoy the holidays much more than now than when I was eating junk 24/7.
