Peanut Butter

Post by silverfish » Sun Mar 11, 2007 9:47 pm

For some, peanut butter is an S, so here is a recipe for next weekend :)

1 cup peanut butter (crunchy is always better)
1 cup sugar (I prefer 3/4 cup)
1 egg

Mix together. Roll into balls. Put on greased tray and flatten slightly with a fork. Bake at about 180C for 12-15 minutes, or until done.

How funny. :D I posted this on my check-in a couple of weeks ago. It's called "Industrial Strength Peanut Butter Cookies." I love them, but only make them very very infrequently.

I wonder if those would work with Splenda instead of sugar. I have a relative who can't have sugar who would love those.

These are to die for!!!

If you have a problem with cookies or PB, DON'T make these for N days!!! I am going to have to put my remainder from this weekend's batch under lock and key until Saturday!!

The next time I make these will be for a party or some other social event where I will only be able to get one or two.

Thanks for a great S day treat recipe.
