New to Everything Here (except trying to lose weight!)

Post by mimi » Mon Apr 16, 2007 10:30 pm

Hello everyone! I'm intrigued by the idea of the No S way of eating. I was given the website by the owner of the Curves that I belong to who stumbled onto it searching the Internet for diets. Anyway, I spent the weekend reading everything on the homepage and message boards to get myself geared up. I'm so excited! Today is my first day no essing (so far, so good) and this is my very first post EVER - I've never written anything to a message board! Everyone seems so helpful and supportive that I thought I'd give it a try. Thanks for listening!

Welcome to No-S, glad you found us! No-S is a terrific program, and the people on the board are very friendly and supportive. Hope we see you around here often! :D

Good luck, and I think you already have a good start - a lot of us here have found that combining No-S with exercise gives even better results.
Before criticizing someone, you should try walking a mile in their shoes. Then you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

Welcome, Mimi!

I'm happy to hear that no-s is spreading by word of physical mouth as well as email! And especially when the people spreading the word are as influential (and presumably knowledgeable) as gym owners.

Yes, Reinhard! I'm happy javascript:emoticon('') about No S too! I'm so glad that Joan (Curves) told me about it. You can be sure that I am already spreading the word to my teacher friends here at school! It's been a long, rough week here in Virginia.
