tea with honey

Post by Amy O. » Fri Apr 18, 2008 12:39 am

Hi all, 2nd week here. I lost 2 pounds! I had hot tea this afternoon with about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Is that ok? I felt quilty like I snacked. This is a great diet! Something I can live with. Lots of variety and no special, expensive foods! And the S days! Thanks Reinhard!

Tea with a sweetener -- even more than you used -- is okay.
"That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do. Not that the nature of the thing itself has changed but our power to do it is increased." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Unless it is sweet enough that you would have it for dessert, it is not considered a sweet. Remember it is no sweets, obvious sweets, not no sugar.
