And you are where I would like to be, BMI wise, Blue. Congratulations on your success! Right now I've lost 3 lbs in 20 days. Now BMI is 24.9. I would love to get to 22 or 23! Here's hoping I see results similar to you guys.

Way to Go blueskighs!!!!!!!!!! :D I love reading your blog and seeing all your great pics. It is so nice to brag about your 30 days on Habit isn't it, not just the weight you've lost, which deserves it's own recognition.

Again Congratulations!!
Creating and sustaining the No S habits are the only thing that will take me in the direction I want to go!

What a wonderful blog!

Will you please post your dal recipe? It looks yummy.

And I totally hear you on the "more energy for life" theme humming through your posts. When I started No-S, I was startled by how much extra TIME I had in the evenings now that I wasn't just hanging out in the kitchen snacking all evening. I took up knitting, and read more than I used to. Love it.

nfalcone,
thank you, and it sounds like you are doing great. you are just about 21 club today or tomorrow? and 3 pounds down ...congratulations to you too!

Danielle,
thank you too! is your name specifically related to NO S, i.e. noturningback from nos or is it something else? whatever it is, i like it and can certainly relate to it with nos ...i.e. noturning back to diet hell and the food cages!

tgp157,
THANKS! :)

KCCC,

shucks  I just love it when people say nice things about my blog - so thank you .. and I have actually posted the dal recipe on my daily checkin, i'll find it and send you a private mail ... it's a bit long I don't want to retype :)

OrganicGal,

in the end I really think that Habitcal is the most important. I'll be honest I was glad to get on the scale monster and see the numbers down but as I was talking with my hubby tonight, there is no replacement for the absolute and total food and emotional sanity I have had the past thirty days, of course ... all that downloads to him  so he likes this diet quite a bit ..
and thank you too for the kind words about my blog and glad you like the pics!

BrightAngel,
thank you! You are a sweetie! I think your journey is going to be very interesting to follow as you are mostly working on maintenance? Yes?
And CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU on that! you have done AMAZING!

Way to go girl! You have much to be proud of and have inspired me to throw away the scale for 30 days and practice the habit!

Blueskighs
It came from a CD entitled No Turning Back by Out of Eden. They were a contemporary christian group that I listened to quite often back when that CD came out. It's got to be about 7-8 years old now. I have been using that screen name for years. If it's out there, there is a good chance it's me.

I chose it for not only the, now, obvious meaning but, just the fact that I truly believe in never turning back because you can't change the past only the present and the future - very true as far as dieting is concerned!

BrightAngel, your SUCCESS is truly impressive and what a great picture and who is that furry friend with you????????????

Diane,

thank you for that little dance! I love it. I have to be honest at this point in my life I have no point what my goal is  hey that could be a good thing. This is a comfortable liveable breatheable weight so hey ... I am going to just keep nosing and let the chips ... pounds ...whatever fall where they may! so i think you guys are stuck with me as long as you will put up with me ... i like it here!

Danielle,
checked OUT OF EDEN on Amazon, they have tons of CDs! and the concept of NO TURNING BACK is always a great one for me to be reminded of ...

shamrockmommy, thank you! (what does brw mean?) and I must add that you give great support here on these bulleting boards!!!!!!!!

fkwan,
thank you! I have thought of things like cookbooks and videos ....but you know!!!!!!!!! and thank you for reading my blog every day ... me and my blog send you big HUGS!

Amyliz,
CONGRATULATIONS on 21 days!!! and thank you for visiting my blog

GEE everyone has been so nice and I just feel all

Thanks Blueskighs,
That's Tashie, one of my two tabby cat sisters.
When we went outside to take the picture, she followed,
and did her best to entice me to pet her.
I love them both, but she's my favorite. :D
