Food Choices

Post by Ray E. » Thu Apr 24, 2008 7:30 pm

I read this message board a couple of times per week, but don't post much. One comment I read over and over is how much "fat" certain food items have. Reinhard mentions in his book (and essay) how different foods and food groups go in and out of style being bad for us (e.g., fat, cards, hydrogenated foods, etc.), yet nobody can agree. I have been reading an interesting blog: Junkfood Science. Link: http://www.junkfoodscience.blogspot.com/

She does a great job debunking many of the myths that permeate the diet and nutrition market place. I like her blog and went back to her first entry and read most of her posts.

Anyway, thought this is something many here would enjoy reading.

"That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do. Not that the nature of the thing itself has changed but our power to do it is increased." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
