Is this a snack

So, an olive in a martini?

Snack or not snack? :)

No snack. It's garnish. Now, if you drink enough martinis for the olives to equal a handful -- that's a snack. But at that point, you've got more to worry about than whether or not the olive is a snack!

Can't do that. Breaks the Glass Ceiling.

I was mostly being silly, though.

My calorie counting, ever-dieting mindset would count the whole thing as a snack, since it's not calorie-free.

Skip the martini and eat an olive for less than 10 calories.

It's a drink, I say, and if it's an olive stuffed with a pimento call it a calorie-free vegetable.
