Aw! Thank you so much!! Yes - I have worked very hard to lose it...and am working even harder now with added exercise! This is exactly what my body needed. I should say that I've lost fast because I was eating extremely unhealthy before NoS-ing. I mean fast food for almost every meal, snacking 24/7, and just any other unhealthy thing you could think of. It's been very drastic weight loss because of that.

Now, I'm eating extremely healthy meals *just 3!* and nothing else! I feel better, am happier, and love the compliments - especially from my family!!!

Thanks Again!!

Well...specifically? LOL

I am a single girl so I decided that I didn't want to cook for myself even though I know it's easy and I do love to cook. I have always loved lean cuisines (frozen meals). They taste great and you never get bored of them with paninis, flat breads, pizzas, and all kinds of italian, chinese, mexican, and american meals. I eat one for lunch and one for dinner. Sometimes I add a salad to it if I'm extra hungry for lunch or I'll add a piece of texas toast garlic bread with dinner. Breakfast is always a bowl of cereal with a banana and skim milk (Special K, Cherrios, Fiber One Clusters, or Granola).

Now for S days. I only allow myself Saturday as my "free" day. And I usually only want 1 thing: 1 DQ Oreo Brownie Earthquake. After I get that on Saturday night I'm great and ready to get started fresh the next day!! I look forward to Sat. all week! Now if I still need a small snack or something on Sunday I don't beat myself up about it, but generally I try to keep it to a one day a week thing.

Exercise is a myriad of different things on everyday but Sunday. I wake up every morning at 6:00 and walk in town for 1 hour. Then, when I get home from work, I either do 1 hour of Urban Rebounding, Glider, or DDR. So I get in about 2 hours of exercise a day.

I guess that's the secret! LOL.

I should also add...like above...that this comes from a person who was extremely sedentary before March 1st. And ate as unhealthy as you can get. I had fast food for almost every meal, snacked on little debbies, ice cream, fried foods, ...you name it. It's disgusting now that I sit back and think about it.

I also should add that I fit all this in around being a special ed. teacher during the day and working on my Ph.D. at night...so ANYONE can fit in the time to exercise and eat right!!

I see you've lost another 2 pounds. Great!!!

I have also found the frozen dinners for lunch are very handy. I had LC Salisbury Steak w/mashed potatoes & carrots yesterday & it was very good. The pizza is excellent also. Haven't tried the paninis yet. Plan to next week. I just bring the whole week's worth & put them in the office frig on Mondays. Since I don't have to pack any snacks, getting out the door each morning is so much easier.

I'm impressed that you are working on your PhD. Gook luck with that & your continued weight loss.

Airen08,

I've contratulated you once already but it bears repeating -- this is fantastic.

I think it's interesting that No-s gives you a lot of scope if you want to be a little more hard core about it. While I think for most people, slow and steady is the way to go, you can certainly turn on the accelerator by layering on "intelligent dietary defaults" and S-limits as you've done.
