A second is a second is a sceond. There is no such thing as a small second.
I had dinner with my girlfriends tonight, both of whom know that I am NO Sing, one of whom is sort of NO Sing with me (I say sort of because she really has not bought into the concept that an orange between meals is a snack and that a trip back to the stove is a second.)
We were laughing and talking and I unconsiously reached for an additional chicken wing flat. My sort of nosing friend admonished me. "That wing was not on your plate, is that a second?
Before I thought, I started to rationalize having the wing but... I put the wing back and as the conversation turned to other topics and time passed, I realized that I was NOT HUNGRY, I DIN NOT WANT THAT WING. I WAS ONLY EATING TO BE SOCIABLE.
I think I have reached another milestone in realizing that I do not have to graze through dinner with friends just because everyone else is grazing through dinner.
I really feel good! For one, stopping myself from rationalizing the additional wing and two, for clearly seeing that my body is better than I am at recognizing when enough food is enough food!
I am at day 18 of my first 21 and I am down right tickled pink at my progress and with myself!

I call this a No S “Thingyâ€. I have never been on a successful “Dietâ€. My brain thinks a "Thingy" is a new way of eating food, a LIFESTYLE CHANGE.
