8 lbs gone!!

Post by mjn » Wed Jun 04, 2008 2:31 am

For all of you who are women, 40-50 age group who are discouraged, I thought I would tell you about my 3 months on NO S. I didn't see any weight loss for the first month and then it started coming off. I am 5'3'' and started at 160 lbs and weighed 152 this morning. I have been walking everyday along with doing the No S diet. I have been counting steps and try to get in 10,000-12,000 steps a day. I have really enjoyed doing this, and can get 14,000 steps in on some days. I eat pretty healthy, but I don't limit any foods. I limit my S days to 3 meals and usually one special treat each day. I love buttered popcorn, so I eat that on Sat. and Sun. as one of my meals. I can eat alot of it!! Anyway, there is hope and this along with exercise works for me.

MJM... Way to go!!! Congratulations!!!!!!
I call this a No S “Thingyâ€. I have never been on a successful “Dietâ€. My brain thinks a "Thingy" is a new way of eating food, a LIFESTYLE CHANGE.
