I went to the doctor yesterday & I've lost 7 lbs since I was there 4 weeks ago!! WooHoo!!! :D :D I only weigh at the doctor's office in order to preserve my sanity.

Don't you feel wonderful? Although it took me 4 MONTHS to do that, I can't get over how great it feels to say that I did it without dieting.

That's incredible news!

I understand about the whole "doctor's office scales" -- I'm similar in that respect. I have a home scale, but it's not a very accurate one (I think, not sure) and I don't have that obsession some friends of mine have with weighing constantly. But the doctor's office scales do make me pay a little closer attention.

In some respect, if I make myself weigh at home, I do have a motivation to eat better, but in truth, numbers mean *nothing* to me! I have no concept of numbers, as sad as it is to say...I'm more of a wordy type person. However, I'm very visual, and being overweight drives me crazy because I can see it in my clothes and when I look at my body in the mirror.
