A Big Congratulations blue on losing all those inches!!!! That's fantastic. I'm going to be looking at working with a personal trainer in the near future...hopefully through the winter months as I'll be going to the gym more then being outside then anyway.

You are such an inspiration with your non-binge eating strong Habits, your Non- idiot S days and your general attitude about life. Thanks for your support and for being here. :D
Creating and sustaining the No S habits are the only thing that will take me in the direction I want to go!

Congratulations on your success with staying on habit and with losing inches! I read some of your blog, and like you, I always find it difficult to fathom than I can lose inches and not lose weight, but apparently (as your circumstance proves), it is possible! Heck---I don't care how much I weigh as long as I'm the size I want to be.

You look like you know how to cook Blueskighs :)
The Blog is cool.
And congrats on maintaining your loss. You seem to be not very overweight, so don't fret if you plateau sometimes. Not gaining is so great. People put so much emphasis on losing weight, but really it's equally, if not more difficult to maintain and not gain back.
Kudos!

OrganicGal, Vmelo, Rose and Debs,

thank you for your support!

OrganicGal, I hope you enjoy working with a trainer. It is fun and for me makes gym less stressful and mysterious! And besides I have learned a lot about ... well, training.

As far as my habits that is really what I feel most good about! So THANK YOU!

Vmelo,
this is exactly what I am learning and undoing decades of "diet damage"

Rose,
thank you! I love your posts and your perseverance! You are an inspiration for me!

Debs,
thank you for your support and insight. I am learning in No S how valuable it is to maintain and that it is possible without *Killing* myself and obsessing about every bit I put in my mouth!

You guys have a great weekend,

Jod job!.
I can't but feel slighty envious because compared to your results, mine are oh! ever so slow, but, reading your blog and comparing our meal choices, I realize that our weight loss speeds are nothing but our own choices.
And that's a wonderful lesson to learn and it's all thanks to Blueskighs!
Not gaining is so great. People put so much emphasis on losing weight, but really it's equally, if not more difficult to maintain and not gain back.
That is so true, I wish more people would talk about the pleasures of NOT GAINING.
How many people can say "aaw, I didn't lose any weight these past x months, but, hey!, I didn't gain a pound, either!".
Very few, and of those that are dieting, I would say none.
And to think that here we are losing/maintaining without dieting...
