Post by blueskighs » Sun Sep 28, 2008 11:44 pm

Didn't thing I would be posting again so soon on "results" but just wanted to record that I Have Reached MAINTENANCE ... Houston Houston the space ship has landed

The six months result I posted yesterday on my blog was from my Tuesday, September 24 date, but guess what? I weighed and took my measurements this morning and I am at 124.3 and 19.6225 body fat. I think that calls for a big WHOOP! WHOOP!

After 6 months and 4 days on the No S Diet I have lost 10.3 pounds and gone from 26 ish body fat to 19 ish body fat! AND my little pencil skirt FITS!

No S and all of you guys, and of course Reinhard, ROCK!!!!!!!!

Now my journey will be shifting to be a record of my experience of MAINTENANCE on the NO S Diet, YIPPEEEEEEEEE

Go, Blue!!!! What a milestone!

You have really internalized the No-S diet so quickly, and made such progress - I've learned a lot from you.

Good luck on maintenance (and you're still going to stop in at times, right?)

:)

Congratulations! I'm so happy to hear this. No-s is good for losing, but maintenance is where it really shines.

Those of you who haven't already should have a look at blueskighs' recently posted "testimonial" for the back story:

Congratulations, Blueskighs. You are an inspiration. I love your posts on the boards, I love your blog. I'm so pleased that you reached your goal. A few weeks ago I even got a few fresh figs (not so great in Massachusetts) to put on my lunch plate, because they looked SO nice on your plate. But, I didn't take a picture, cuz it was slopped high with a bunch of other food.

Reinhard, Crazy Cat Lady, and KAxelrod,

thank you for your kind words of support. It is great that "maintenance" is the same as the "weight loss" phase! I think Kathleen pointed out this is a great quality of the NO S Diet and I have to heartily agree!

And as Reinhards said, this is where No S really shines and as most of us know, maintenance is very critical!
