It might fit on a plate, but personally, I'd try for the six inch version.

You'd have to cut it in half and put it side by side - would take up pretty much all the plate

Yes, it does fit on a plate -- along with the contents of a bag of chips. Speaking from experience here....

Be careful about what kind of foot-long sub you get -- the nutritional difference between, say, the chicken-bacon-ranch and the turkey-no-cheese is just incredible!
