My mom passed away

Post by CatholicCajun » Sat Dec 13, 2008 10:42 pm

Most of you will not recognize my name, I have been off the boards for a few months now. My mom took a bad fall in October, we had to put her in a nursing home and two weeks after being there on November 12 she passed away. The holidays are here and we are busy with my shops and that is a good thing. I am sooooo off habit, but will get serious once December is over. I hope all of you have a very blessed Christmas.

CC,

Oh my goodness-that's where you've been. What a trying autumn you have had. Know that our thoughts are with you and best wishes for a healing holiday season.

Guess you had a little bit of an early White Christmas or did that snow make it to your place?

Take care and welcome back.

I'm so very sorry! My mom passed away as a result of a fall too....it was awful. I wish I had the words to make things better...but I know that's not possible. Grief is so very hard to walk through. I do hope & pray that you'll have sweet memories of her.

Hugs & prayers,
janie

I am sorry. My wish for you is to be able to remember your mom with a smile instead of tears. I am still grieving the loss of my father so I understand. Get back in the No S groove. Taking care of yourself is a good thing.

Thank you all so much for the kind words, they touched me deeply. La Loser the snow stopped a few miles "up the road" from us! Man it was wet and cold! We are not used to it that cold, we rarely get snow down here. Once again, thank you all so much, you all blessed my day.
