Hi Again
Hi. I have been here before; but changed my name. I stopped NoSing about a year ago--I guess like a lot of people when I wasn't strict with following the "guidelines", weight didn't come off like I thought and growing disappointed, I thought I'd do my millioneth diet again. (Having a close friend who tries every diet that comes along doesn't help any.) I finally came to the realization I have gone around on the "merry go round" so many times, it was just time to get off, re-evaluate and change. The biggest change is NOT to weigh. That is always the thing that throws me off. So.......here I am....again. I am hoping for a 21 day success focusing only on habit and not what I eat so much. That helped before (til I weighed.) I am glad I am back.....And as my name states....NOMOREDIET!!!!
Welcome back!
Two things that might help with "strictness"
1. I did a podcast on the subject a while ago:

(there's also a similar section in the book on pages 118-121)
2. The habitcal is a great way of "quantifying" strictness. I just added a new timeline view yesterday and am actively working on the much requested "add note" feature.
