Skipping Meals?

Hello, everyone. I'm new to this; actually, I found the site from a link in a Healthy Lifestyles LJ community I'm in and spent the last hour or so reading about the No-S diet.
Well, even though it's Saturday, I'll definitely be starting this diet... theoretically, Monday.
I have a question! I'm a seventeen year old high school student who is sadly unemployed (Living about an hour south of Detroit, unfortunately all of my entry-level job opportunities are going to those who have just lost their auto industry career) and on summer vacation. It's not that I'm lazy, although I guess I am, but I tend to go to bed later and wake up between ten o'clock and noon.
I'm not a wake-up-and-eat person, so usually this means by the time I get hungry for the first time, it's about 1 PM and... lunchtime. So, I've gone and skipped breakfast!!
Is this okay, for me to just eat when I'm hungry? Should I consciously make an effort to get out of bed earlier to balance out my meal-schedule? Should I try to adjust my schedule for three meals, just at unconventional times, for balance purposes?
I'm sorry if there's been a question like this that has already been posted somewhere along the lines, but... I'm only human, so looking through 50+ pages for my answer just sounded ridiculous.
Thank you!
