back again

Post by mstevens » Mon Aug 17, 2009 9:20 am

Been away for a while, but I seem to be suffering somewhat from expanding frontiers, so I've come back for another go.

Hello again! Is anything new and exciting?

Welcome back!

I came back a few weeks ago after being gone for several months. That's not exactly "new and exciting", but it's the best I can do!

I hope your time here is helpful & encouraging.

Ditto that! I like the idea of binges as mini-suicides. I also have been struggling with binges, though I've noticed that they're becoming less extreme as I keep going along...What really helped me was saying that S days were not binge days during which I should feel awful. Rather, they are Special days to take around 2 S events and enjoy :) I don't know if it will help you to alter the No S diet a bit, but I needed more structure during the weekend and upwards of 2 S's I feel sick...

Thanks, Marianna and Ari!

Amen to that. I *do* have to give myself some structure and limits on S days, otherwise it spirals out of control. And yeah, more than a couple of treats is pushing it for me too...

Hi M :)
Good to see you back.
I miss seeing your minimalistic check in updates!
Hope your "frontiers" stop expanding now that you are back and they retreat to a happy place

Hello again!

I'm not really expecting to discover anything new but I've ordered the book. The 14 words are enough!

Failed yesterday with a huge soda with dinner. But I am determined! And it's still a cutback on last week.

Not been getting notification emails so I've changed the email address in my profile to my work one. See if that helps.

Hello again deb, I remember you!

I'm planning to buy a smaller bowl for breakfast.

At the moment it's certainly one plate, but it's also rather a lot!

Welcome back!

Nothing qualitatively new -- though there are quantitatively rather more of us here (just passed the 4000 member mark!).
