Question About: Ascorbic Acid Diabetes

I had read an article in MSN health and fitness about diabetes and the advice that a person should talk to their doctor first before taking ascorbic acid. Does ascorbic acid create an unwelcome effect on blood sugar?

I asked this question in Question About: Ascorbic Acid Diabetes but I would like to know more before I proceed any further to take precautions.

Do advise.

Thanks,
Angela

I think this might be like some other things: get your Vitamin C from natural sources (fruits and vegetables) rather than relying on supplements. Very often the supplements have adverse effects (or no positive effect), but relying on natural sources has no adverse effects (and is associated with positive benefits).

Eat food, not nutrients.
