A No-S Conversation

Post by NoelFigart » Fri Sep 18, 2009 10:12 pm

Husband: The kid is going to be away tonight. Want to do something nice this evening?

Wife: What did you have in mind?

Husband: Well, it's a shame it's not an S-day. I was thinking sushi, a glass of wine and Torchwood*.

Wife: Sushi is No-S approved as long as you don't eat more than would fit on a plate. It's not a sweet.

Husband: I love this diet.

*BBC science fiction show. We're geeks, yes. Stop laughing. It's not nice to make fun of people that can't help it.

Isn't it nice to be able to go out to restaurants, and eat normal food? :D

Sounds like a perfectly good meal!!!! I wouldn't mind a plate of sushi and an evening of Torchwood too! Though I'd be careful of drinking too much wine if you're watching the latest season of Torchwood! I, too, am a scifi geek! :D

Drinking too much wine, hell!

There are a couple of episodes I don't wanna watch and be eating raw flesh... LOL.

Torchwood is my daughter's favorite show! (After Dr. Who, I guess.) I'm afraid to watch it, though, because she says if I don't like it she'll have to hate me forever. :)

Oh, that's too bad.

Well, thanks, I'll check Netflix and put it on my queue.

BBC America runs it. I don't get it, but I have a friend who records it for me.
