skipped meal
Do you ever have a skipped meal later in the day? Today we had breakfast at 11am and then didn't eat again until 7pm. If I eat a sandwich or something is it a snack?
Thanks for your help.

There's no rule that says what time of the day you have to eat your meals. I'd go ahead and consider it your 3rd meal. If your other meals were only one plateful, you may end up too hungry by tomorrow and set yourself up for unwanted snacking.

Do what seems right for you. I don't think I've ever found that skipping a meal one day makes me hungrier the next. In fact, I often eat only two meals daily.

I second wosnes. Also, YMMV, but since starting No S I have come to prefer not eating anything within three hours of going to bed. For me that's usually 10 o'clock, so I try to finish dinner before 7. I find I sleep better and feel better the next day if I don't eat anything too close to bedtime.
Just my two cents.
Just my two cents.

If it works for her, it does. You need to find what works for you.MysteryLover wrote:Guess I'm out voted! My mother thinks I'm crazy for needing three meals per day. She only eats at 11 am and 6 pm. Personally, I'd be ready to eat my own arm - LOL.
I'm with you in wanting breakfast.

I've found the same thing. Eating breakfast most often makes me a food disposal system. I don't understand it, don't even want to try and understand it, but that's the way it is. If I do decide to have breakfast, it's almost an appetizer for lunch (that is, very late in the morning).StrawberryRoan wrote:I actually do better with just two meals, breakfast only makes me one to eat and eat and eat.
Lunch and dinner serve me better.
