Down 8 Pounds

Post by RJLupin » Tue Mar 16, 2010 5:25 pm

I have lost 8 pounds in a little over 3 weeks doing No S. I am thrilled! I was one of those people who said, "Oh, I can't lose weight on a normal diet, I have to follow low carb/no sugar" but this is working out great for me, and I don't feel like I am "on a diet." Even in this short amount of time, I have pretty much made the No S rules a habit, and reaching for snacks or sweets during the week doesn't even occur to me.

Good for you! Congratulations.

I don't think this should feel like a "diet", except by the definition of being the way you eat. It's not only what you eat, but how -- the habits associated with eating.
"That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do. Not that the nature of the thing itself has changed but our power to do it is increased." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"You are what you eat -- so don't be Fast, Easy, Cheap or Fake."

That's great!
