Very cool!
I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

Very cool. I actually saw that a while back and posted a mention of the habitcal, hoping to attract the Great Man's attention. But it seems, alas, like he has better things to do than trawl internet bulletin boards for mentions of his name (or perhaps he's just an avid practitioner of weekend luddite, as well :-)).

This idea is helpful.

I guess this is just a low-tech way of doing the HabitCal. I have started doing this (day 4 completed - yeah me!) and find it to be ridiculously satisfying to draw a big X through each day.
Thanks for posting this Blondie!

I guess this is just a low-tech way of doing the HabitCal.
The low tech way of doing the habitcal is with a physical calendar and 3 markers.

The problem with the Seinfeld system is that there is no tolerance for failures. One slipup and you're at zero -- you've lost everything. With the habitcal (paper or electronic) your slip ups are just as clear, but you never lose the green you've worked so hard to accumulate. You have a "visual incentive" to get right back on track and bury that red in a sea of green.

Going green!

Post by la_loser » Fri Jul 02, 2010 3:23 pm

Maybe if our cover girl Blondie could be the link to the funny man! :)

Seriously, it's so reassuring to know you are still on the boards and keeping your success going.

And it just occurs to me-maybe someone else has already made this connection-or maybe I did months ago but it bears repeating.

The Habitcal gives a whole new meaning to "going green!'
LA Loser. . . well on my way to becoming an LA Winner.
