Jack LaLane moved on today. 96.
Maybe it was genetics, maybe it was a lot of push ups, and power juicing. Maybe sience will never tell us, but I remember as a kiddling the beginnings of Sesame Street and the black and white Jack Lalane Show with his white German Shepard.
Good Luck Jack.
I forgot to add, Jack was a Dude!

I remember my "introduction" to Jack LaLane in the late 50s or early 60s,
while an adolescent, with the extremely unusal sight of my mother
..who was then in her mid-30s, exercising in the living room
in front of the black-and-white tv to Jack LaLane.
As a young adult, I exercised in front of my own black-and-white tv
along with Jack and his wife.
96 years is a very long life.
Sesame Street began sometime in the late 60s,
because I recall being excited by its inception and the opportunity
for my first child, who was around 2 years old, to learn from it.

In today's world of excessive testing and labelling, if I were the same "kid" I probably would have been tagged with Autism Spectrm Disorder.
I could read Dr. Seuss at three, but in K-2 didn't learn my ABC's, etc. So the teacher's suggestion was my mom drop me in front of the TV and watch Seseme Street to learn them. That was my intro to Big Bird and the rest. I also remember The Electric Company, and...Barnaby Jones on "Dark Shadows".
