By the way, I see I have one more week to complete to hit my 90 days. I've had more success than not, but more failures and exceptions than I should. But at least I'm still here trying.

I finished my backpacking trip and am starting a new round of RE90X today. That will take me up to Jan. 8, 2012.

I'm going to start a new round tomorrow, October 17th, so that should take me to January 15, 2012. Right through the holidays. And I'll be looking for higher percentage compliance than my last 90 days, which beat my previous 90 days.

I'm looking at vanilla no-s, plus C25K and three days a week of resistance/weights.

10/17 - SUCCESS; W1D1 C25K
10/18 - SUCCESS; WEIGHTS
10/19 - SUCCESS; OFF DAY FOR EXERCISE
10/20 - SUCCESS; WEIGHTS
10/21 -
10/22 & 23 - S DAYS

Okay, I haven't been keeping up here or even on habitcal, but I have been working out a bit more and am still hopeful I will make it even more consistent. I am supposed to finish up my most recent 90 days as of Jan. 8, but I'm toying with making the next round arbitrarily finish up on Mar. 20, the first day of spring. I'll be writing a testimonial to celebrate two years of mostly compliant No S sometime in the next week.

Have been successful with No S every day and have been averaging 4 of 5 days for weights and/or walking/cardio. Feels good! I could tell in my dance class and on a recent hike. Plus a pair of pants that were close-fitting at the beginning of December felt loose all day yesterday.

Compliance with No S has continued to get even better, with S days considerably tamed. probably averaged only 35% compliance on exercise, but I still lost 7 lbs. I've dropped a total of 12 lbs. in two rounds of this, and am finally at a size at which people are really noticing the difference. When they ask about it, I caution them that this has been over two years in the making. And worth it.

I've committed on another site to doing a minimum of 10 minutes a day of activity for all of April. I'll be doing my more vigorous resistance work on weekdays, probably doing 14 minutes, but it still counts for me if I do only 10. I can add walking, or course. I hope this will make this 90 days more compliant. Food is still a little troublesome on weekends but N days are good, even while I'm on vacation.

We don't need no stinkin' P90X

Well, my compliance has been lousy, but I'm bringing this up in case there are any people who want to go try this with a June 1st start date. I'm still trying to believe I will do it, but my 90 days are done with the seasons. My quarter will be up June 20 for the summer solstice and I'm on the June challenge. I'll be rolling it over to have my next quarter end at the fall equinox, which is very close to my 59th birthday on Sept. 26.

To remind everyone, I call "RE90X" 90 days of Vanilla No S (or your mods), 14 minutes of anything, and Urban Ranger or the cardio of your choice. (RE for Reinhard, of course.)
