I think I've made so many mistakes that I can't count them. I do try and not make the same mistake twice. But new ones keep popping up!

Mistake or bad decision? There is a difference, and many people seem to confuse the two.

Personally, I don't think mistakes and bad decisions are that distinguishable.
Normally, a bad decision involves a mistake or is a mistake.

As an example, recently when I broke my arm,
it occurred because of a mistake AND a bad decision.
My mistake was a mis-step backwards that resulted in a fall.
My bad decision was to concentrate on something in front of me,
and neglect to pay closer attention to my own movements.

My grandpa used to say that if you learned something from an experience, it wasn't a mistake.
