lost 1lb

Post by nosnos » Thu Jun 23, 2011 7:30 am

Yay, I lost 1lb!! This might not seem like much but I don't have much to lose and I have been. At the same weight since forever. It may not be permanent but it marks the begging of a downward trend and also the fact that no S can work for me- so now I am even more inspired to keep going and get the habits down!
I think the things that have helped are
1. Yoga everyday for 20mins in addition to other exercise- consistent toning
2. The july challenge- accountability to myself and others
3.Eating calorie dense foods for brekfast and lunch- after dinner munchies is my weakest point so this really helps
4. And accepting hunger- I used to delude myself that despite being on a diet I was thin enough to never be hungry... Wrong! A little hunger is nothing to be afraid of and as long as I eat enough during Breks and Lunch it really takes the edge off anyway.
I'm so glad to have had a sign this can work for me- and best of all it fits in well with my life and I can see myself sticking to it :)

Congratulations! It looks like you have a plan.
