Even if yesterday hadn't been an S day...

Post by wosnes » Sun Jun 26, 2011 4:34 pm

Even if yesterday hadn't been an S day, it would have been an S day at my house. My eldest got engaged! We've all been expecting this, but yet it came as a surprise. Well, I suppose today would be the S day because none of us have seen them since "it" happened. I'll probably be the first, because I have their dog....Oh, just heard from her. They'll be here within the hour!

That's about as "special" as you can get! :)

Congrats to them both!

(I love how happy you sound. It is so nice to feel positively about a new addition to the family... and I'm sure your future daughter-in-law will be equally happy to be so welcomed!)

Thanks, everyone! This will be an exciting time. Obviously I think she's an exceptional young woman and we all are very fond of him. In fact, one of her uncles told her months ago that she'd better not lose him, because he was one of the good guys.

I just hope she doesn't turn into bridezilla. I do think there's potential! ;-)

How exciting!! ..and it sounds like you already have a "grand-dog" in the mix!! Best wishes all around! Is there a special engagement story to share? I think most of us love a good romantic story!
