* * * week of 9/11 challenge * * *

Post by ~reneew » Mon Sep 12, 2011 3:04 pm

I challenge you to have an absolutely perfect week. No cheating, slips or close-enoughs.

This is for anybody who needs encouragement and daily accountability. Think of this as your own little cheering section.

- Write down what your "perfect" is at the top of your post and then update us as to how you're doing. Accountability helps!
- *Remember* to only post once at the top and edit that first post all week with an update of how you are doing. It's easier to find each other.
- Please re-read that last one, some people don't get it.
- After Monday we will continue posting at the bottom for encouragement and fun.
- This challenge is meant for all of us to give support, so let's try hard to do that.
- Anyone can start whenever through out the week. The more ~ the merrier!
- Be sure to tell us all at the end of the week if you did have a perfectly successful week!!!
I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

I am in, too!

I'm still a beginner, so I'm doing No-S pretty strictly. "Perfect" for me will be to simply have no snacks, sweets, or seconds except on days that begin with S. That sounds familiar! :) And oh, let's make it three meals.

I'm in...

NoS + 1 cup of hot chocolate per day allowed.
15' of exercise or relaxation.
30' walking, 14 flights of stairs.

Monday: NoS exercise walking stairs

(well, obviously it won't be an exactly perfect week since I've failed at my stairs goal already - although I could have called it an S... Anyway my goal is a perfect Tue to Fri).

Tuesday: NoS exercise walking stairs (I actually went back to the ground floor to be able to climb the stairs back up)
Wednesday: NoS exercise walking stairs
Thursday: NoS exercise walking stairs
Friday: NoS exercise walking stairs

@renee : don't be too impressed... it was only 4 floors. In a normal workday I routinely climb 3 and 4 floors, twice each (hence to 14 floors goal). But yes, usually if I miss an occasion to climb the stairs I don't go to the trouble of going back downstairs... this weekly challenge is strangely motivating.
