I have not been having snacks for a long time now---since the beginning of January. I am not sure why I am hungry tonight. Perhaps I didn't make good choices for supper. I guess I won't know I am hungry when I am sleeping. Do other people experience evening hunger after not dealing with that feeling for a long time? Have you figured out why?
Take care. :)

Hunger isn't a disease. It's ok to go to bed looking forward to breakfast. If you haven't felt hunger in years, it's because you've been eating way too much.

Good, regular habits (and full meals) will make hunger more bearable, pleasant even. "Appetite is the best sauce."

Hope you enjoyed your breakfast!

Or, as my father says:

(in a German accent): "Unngar iz der bezt cook"

But I like "Appetite is the best sauce" as well!

I went to bed without indulging. It didn't kill me!! I knew it wouldn't. That which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
Hope you all have a great weekend. I am looking forward to a treat or 2 or 3. :)

Going to bed hungry...

The funny thing I've found about going to bed hungry is that it doesn't cause me to wake up hungry.

When you sleep, your body produces higher levels of leptin, which is a hormone involved in controlling appetite. I wish I could turn that ability on at will :)

Turning on leptin...

You'd be a superhero if you could just turn that on... the Leptinator!
