Just discovered how to view the newest posts!!......I finally gave up trying to figure it out days ago.....then accidentally just discovered it! I am SO slow.
Sure makes things so much easier.

Cool, huh? But there is no way to be notified of new threads, so you have to check the relevant section of the index.

In case you weren't aware, you can also mark in your profile to notify you by email when someone posts to a thread that you posted on...between the two options you can keep up with everything pretty well!

How do you view newest posts?
In the upper corner I see unanswered post, and post I posted to.
I'll have to set the 'notify me when a reply is posted", although at this stage in the game I'm on here more than I should be...

After you go to "View posts since last visit" just click on the arrow that is before each "Topic".
Hope that's not confusing.

Nope got it..thanks..that is nice! Too bad there wasn't like a user guide with tips and short cuts!
