I little encouragement for those in need

Post by jellybeans01 » Tue Nov 06, 2012 6:55 pm

it seems lately that there have been some discouraged dieters lately so I thought I would do a little post. I have been an imperfect no ser for about 3 years. I have had about 3 kids also in that time ( or so it seems) and am now pregnant with number 5. No s has helped me lose weight after baby 2 and 3. I was doing no s after baby number 4 and went from 150 to 136, six pounds from my goal weight only to get pregnant again! I am 16 weeks and have only gained 2 pounds. No s always gets me thin, ALWAYS. Not skinny but being a mom of so many kids and wearing size 6 jeans is nice! I have told a girl friend of the no s after her 3rd baby and now she is a very trim mommy spreading the wonderful news.
You can do this people! no other diet in the world will let you eat three times a day what you want and lose weight. You may have to make tweaks here and there but you CAN make this work and you can be trim from this diet. Here are a few things I have personally done to make it work.

1. I am imperfect, especially around this time of year. If I eat outside the rules, I accept it and move on without making it a free for all binge day.

2. food will not feed that whole in your heart.

3. I personally give myself s events not days. Those are to dangerous for me and I don't get that diet head that can work against me.

I quick thank you for all the no sers here that encourage me with your postings. I hope I can do the same for others.

Thank you so much for this post! Very encouraging!
I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

Thank you for this, it's so nice to hear success stories. It gives me hope that there is a way to be thin without compulsive dieting. I have also thought about making S events, rather then days as sweets are huge trigger foods for me and I tend to go overboard with them. Thanks again for posting your success.

Wow jellybeans, that is inspirational. I'm finding it hard enough wrangling one baby!

You know the old saying "work expands to fill the time available to it?" It's much the same with babies. No matter if you work outside the home or not, the first baby takes a LOT of time. Unless there are special circumstances, the second one (and each successive one) doesn't take as much time. Part of this is probably because you know what to expect and everything isn't new. Part of it is that you don't have the time to devote exclusively to each new baby.
