A krispy kreme doughnut, or a chocolate dessert pot for me

I've discovered that I really value a tasty dessert so will dismiss a lot of options for a good one! I am also partial to a crumble of any kind (but making my own means having a lot of portions, so I tend not to).

At this point in time my favorite S-day treat is "Double Crème de la Gruyère & Meringues" ice cream from Mövenpick, with chocolate shreds. Oh boy
But this can change shortly.

Oh, there's a difference between my go-tos and my favorite.
My go-tos are a shortening thumbprint cookie with a dollop of chocolate, or a specialty line of Jello puddings. Yes, they are pretty darn good.
My favorite is chocolate mousse cake but it's hard to finagle for the social situations I'm in and my mod in Dec. is to eat sweets only in social situations. Unless it's the Jello pudding. That could change in January.

Hmmmm I just bought some jello pudding treats for the kids, I got birthday cake and s'more I think, I will have to try.
My tastes have changed. As much as I love chocolate, I am much more discerning, there have been weekends when I was looking forward to something then disappointed when I ate it.
Chocolate chip whipped cream cake is darn good. The good thing is since there are six uf us I don't get stuck with too much.

T'is the Christmas season, and the Lebkuchen (gingerbread cookies) here are fresh and most delicious.
So, my fav go-to has changed from ice cream to Elisenlebkuchen. I enjoy eating them with tea, coffee or milk. They are large (tea cup saucer size), round, thinly glaced gingerbread cookies. And, they smell wonderfully christmassy. I like other gingerbread also, but the E. is my favorite.
