Hi there everyone!!Well I am here because I quit smoking 9 months ago and in that time, I have piled on the weight lol!! I thought about joining weight watchers but it is quite expensive and I thought I would try this on my own at first.I am looking for a support group. I don't consider myself obese but I am very uncomfortable carrying around 25 extra pounds. I weighed 125 last March and Now I am up to 150. I really want to get it off . My problem is I drink 3 cream in my coffee , am addicted to pepsi and love chips and chocolate at night. Any suggestions would be welcome.I plan to start this diet On Monday. I am going to post once a week of any weight loss. Thank you Beth

Welcome, but I highly recommend that you start right away. Get in two N days before the weekend of S days. You'll be glad you did!

I also suggest you start reframing your thinking. Instead of thinking 'I piled on the pounds," think "I really started overeating a lot." Work on cutting down your overeating. You can't be sure of what your results will be, but what you really want is to permanently change your eating habits.

You don't have to give up the cream, the Pepsi, the chocolate or the chips. You just have to change when you eat them.

Welcome! I wouldn't even count the cream unless you use more than average or have it with your meal. That's legal... so what if it takes you a long time to drink... ha. Drink diet pepsi anytime, or cut down on the loaded stuff and have it on the weekend. I eat chips with my meals and hide the sweets 'til Saturday. You can do this! It gets easier and easier with perfect compliance! Give it your all for a week. You'll see.
I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

I also recommend that you start right away. I wouldn't worry about the cream, either. If you can have whole milk anytime, you can certainly have some cream in your coffee.

If I have a sandwich at a meal, I'll often have chips with the meal. But I never have them as a snack.
