Back Again!

Post by MerryKat » Tue May 28, 2013 11:54 am

I am Back Again!

I am Back Again because this truely is the only plan that works. It has become my default and however those sneaky snacks & sweets have worked themselves back into my day.

I can't even remember when I last posted

Brief rundown of my No S history:

2005 to 2008
Messed around with No S and when I stuck to it, guess what it worked. However, I kept trying to better the system and that never works!! I lost whenever I stuck with it.

2009
I stuck to No S 85% of the time and I lost 4kg (8.8lb).
I lost every month except 2.

2010
I fell off the No S wagon & I gained back 3kg of the 4kg I had lost in 2009. The months where I followed No S, I lost!!

2011
I stuck to No S 75% of the time and I lost 3.1kg (6.8lb).
I lost every month except 3.

2012
I stuck to No S 66% of the time and I lost 2.3kg (5.1lb).
I lost every month except 4.

So even a hard head like me should be able to see that this works, but guess what after a brilliant January and February 2013 (During which I was recovering from major surgery and at home all day with as much food as I wanted) - March, April & May went totally off the rails as I did things My Way! What a disaster.

So as of Monday 27/05/2013 - Absolutely NO More!!

Time to pull my socks up and get back to what I KNOW WORKS. I have proof listed above and on my spreadsheets!

I have also signed myself up for the following challenges for 6 weeks (initially) www.hundredpushups.com:

100 Push Ups
200 Sit Ups
200 Squats
150 Dips

I need to build my base fitness & then I will aim to get back to some cardio.

Luv & Hugs
MerryKat

I don't feel I've actually gone off it but I've had a lot of fails the last 6 weeks, so I'm a little in your boat. Here to stay!

I have found it helpful to catalog the things I lose when I've departed from No S. Separate from the weight issue. For instance, when not on No S, I have a little bit of guilt and fear mixed into my snacks and treats. Yuck!! Guilt and fear are the worst spice of all. Also, I lost the peace of mind that I wouldn't gain weight. I love that peaceful gift.

For me, I focus on the many gifts of No S that have nothing to do with weight for me. And they are surprisingly many.

finallyfull - you are so right that is the biggest problem when not following No S - Guilt, fear and lack of peace become a visious circle which feeds its self! the more of those you have I find the more I snack and bang the circle gets tighter!

Thanks Jan (((((((HUGS))))))))
