I think my average is about six hours between meals. Sometimes it's more, but rarely is it less than that.

For me it depends on the meal as I have light breakfasts.

between Breakfast(9am) and Lunch (12.30pm)
3 hours

between Lunch and Dinner (around 8pm)
7 hours

between Dinner and Breakfast
12 1/2 hours

and I thought I would take half an hour to eat three times but I know it sometimes takes much longer, especially for lunch and dinner.

The average for me is about the same as for you, but there are exceptions. Not usually less than five hours. Rarely more than six.

The ideal for me is to be hungry for 1-2 hours before the meal, but that doesn't happen as regularly anymore, even though I'm eating a lot less.

Has anyone else noticed decreasing hunger? Last week, I had a busy day where I didn't have time for dinner until 10 pm, and yet I wasn't really hungry. According to the pro-snackers, shouldn't I have been ravenous instead? I ended up eating a very light meal.

It varies and can be related to how busy and occupied I am. Deadlines for work make the biggest impact. Or being out with newish friends.

I have completely different phases when it comes to hunger. Seasonal, hormonal, depending on how much I exercise and depending on how much I ate over the week/ what kind of food was on my plate.

I normally have about 3 hours between meals - I generally eat at 12, 3, and 6. But, sometimes there are way more hours if I actually get hungry earlier in the morning. It all depends on how my stomach is feeling.

I usually have 5-6 hours between meals.

For breakfast/brunch I eat when hungry, which is on average 11-13:00 hrs. Dinner is around 19:00 hrs.
On some afternoons I visit a Cafè and have a non-sweet croissant or quiche with my Latte Macchiato and consider that the 3rd meal.
So, on those days there's 3 hours between meals.

I am not perfect; some days I still snack..
