Homemade croutons for the culinarily challenged

Post by losingforgood » Tue Feb 25, 2014 7:18 pm

Well, actually, I CAN cook. I'm just a lazy cook so I don't do a lot of fancy cooking either way these croutons I'm presently enjoying on my salad were soooo easy. I took a slice of organic sliced bread, placed it in a glass tray, spread olive oil on both sides, sprinkled Garlic powder and oregano on both sides, then put it in the toaster oven at 425 for 10 minutes. It was ready by the time I finished fixing my salad. Yummy! I will never buy the ready made croutons again! :)
