My vertical urban rangering is paying off

Post by larisa0001 » Sun Jan 21, 2007 4:23 am

Today, I ran up to the 10th floor. When I started, I could only run up to the 5th floor before slowing to a walk. It's working...

Wow! That's impressive.

I'm a couple floors below you still, but it is amazing how fast one gets used to it.

Sadly, our group is moving to the second floor soon and I'm going to have to find some other way to get my vertical rangering in.

Anytime I'm in a stairwell I habitually throw in a few extra flights. Some of my officemates looked at me like I was crazy until I told them it was training for hiking. Now some of them do it too.

That's a good idea, David.

Funny how we need excuses for virtue nowadays :-)

Unfortunately the building our group is going to be moving to is only 2 floors high.

I'll figure something out...
