Milestone: Five

Urban ranger is an inspirational metaphor to get you walking. Warning: there is poetry involved. Discuss it here.

Milestone: Five

I'm sure you hard core urban rangers would probably find this a little wimpy, but I just walked five miles.

This is kind of a big deal for me, as there was a time when my calf would cramp up from one.

I was walking 20 minute miles, so yeah, it took me awhile, but YA!

I think in general, this will be a weekend recreation thing for me rather than something I do every day, but still, it was kind of cool.

I think anyone in the U.S. should consider walking 5 miles a respectable accomplishment.
