Blankful: Roll your own fill-in-the-blank tests

Post by reinhard » Tue Jun 03, 2008 8:26 pm

A little tool for fellow autodidacts:

My immediate "use case" was practicing German articles, but it's pretty general purpose.

Not sure if anyone else is using this, but I continue to find it helpful.

I just added a little tweak that lets you blank out words in the input text by surrounding them with _underscores_.

Is this no longer available? Just discovered it but links aren't working. I have sons learning Latin (homeschool) and we might find this quite helpful.

I keep coming back to your website for clean, simple advice on managing life. Thanks for sharing your gifts.

Sorry blankful somehow stopped working a while ago... I'll see if I can revive it.

These days, I'm very into anki cards, which have something in common. Anki "cloze deletions" are more versatile if slightly less ef.
