Fractional Podcast Debut

Post by reinhard » Fri Aug 18, 2006 12:51 pm

I've agreed to do a regular segment for a new "health hacks" podcast (formerly fat guy gets fit). My debut is towards the end of what's currently called Fat Guy Gets Fit #14.

http://www.healthhackspodcast.com/

If there's any interest, I might rerelease my segments as a seperate everyday systems podcast.

This sounds like it'll be really good. I'll listen to it on my next walk. :)

Hi Reinhard!

I'm listening to you now!!! LOL!!!
This is great!!!
It shows a side of you that we *kinda* get from your writing, ie: your "tone"..
You are funny!!!!!!
Ya know what? You almost sound like Woody Allen there! LOL!!!

So people, to get to Reinhard, just forward to about 12 minutes in, unless you want to hear the rest (which was semi entertaining)

Rein, you are so smart and such a pleasure!!!!!!
I am so happy to be alligned with you and your EDS!!!!!!

I, for one, would love you to do a semi regular podcast about what's going on with you..

One minor criticism is the comment you made that you were fat because you liked to eat all kinds of different foods.. That's innacurate and, I guess you were winging it a bit, but I think you might want to focus on the fact that you were overeating and underexercising, not that you like food...Everyone likes food, but not everyone is overweight.

Ha!!! Funny how you were right after the Lavida LoCarb guy..
That was awesome how you likened it to Communism!!!
(the whole movement, not that guy)
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay the way you are please!

Great voice and you sounded very intriguing!!!
Go for it man!!!!
Peace and Love

Thanks for the favorable review, Deb! It's amazing how much stage fright I can work up in a room by myself in front of a computer.

"The woody allan of workout" -- I like it. A little improbable, maybe, but inspiring to all those whiney nerds who get sand kicked in their face :-)

You're welcome Rein!

As for the stage fright... Well, just remember that anyone who listens to your podcast, is interested in hearing you, and all you need to do is be genuine and be yourself and those who are, as you mentioned in your homepage of "like mind" or something like that, will get where you are coming from immediately..
And you don't sound like a nerd!!! LOL!!!
You just sound intelligent and naturally funny.. I meant Woody Allen in that sense! (Okay maybe a little geeky, but in the good sense!)
I for one would prefer listening to you speak about health programs than say,,, Sylvester Stallone or Richard Simmons! LOL!

Yeah! Keep em coming please!
We want more nerdiness!
I speak for the NoS masses!
LOL..

Peace and Love,

My next segment is up.

Fat Guy Gets Fit #15.

http://www.healthhackspodcast.com/

They bumped me up towards the beginning. I guess that's a good sign!

I guess since it wasn't a total disaster I should start promoting it more actively...

Thanks again for your kind words, Deb!

The first official health hacks podcast episode is up, with a segment from me about the nosdiet.

Mostly as an experiment, just to see how this works, I also set up a separate everyday systems podcast for just my segments.

You can find links to both here:
