New podcast episode:

Four catchphrases for tidier habits.

Hope something in there resonates with someone!

P.S. sorry the bulletin board upgrade progress seems to have stalled -- things are (very slowly) happening behind the scenes.

Today I was tempted to leave the lunch dishes in the sink, but told myself not to throw my future self under the bus. My saucepans are nested, and my clothes hang like with like.

One of your most useful podcasts to me.

I remember when you reviewed the Marie Kondo book! I personally found her method a bit too extreme - I am much more for the gentler, habit based approach like you describe here. Have you heard of Swedish Death Cleaning? Another book with lots of food for thought about our possessions...

Thank you, Reinhard. I am a big fan of clearing up my stuff (probably my German nature  ). So I really enjoyed this episode. At least the first 2 principles are so simple and obvious - I will use with my daughters. And hope they like it as much as I do... :D
@Amy3010: I just bought the audio book of the Swedish Death Cleaning. I had not heard about it, but this made me curious. Thanks for sharing!
All the best

Stefan

Somehow that aspect of my German nature seems to have skipped a generation (or two -- my kids are slobs too).

I'm intrigued by Swedish Death Cleaning! (Great title, if nothing else)

I'll check it out.
