So my previous attempt at no-essing in December was a mess between traveling, depending on family for meals and exercise opportunities, and generally being new-ish to the diet. But I think I learned a few things and have the opportunity to start fresh with relatively little hassles this month. Yay!
I would LOVE to get to 21 days. I am also going into a huge career "new step" in the week just after January 22nd, and it would be great to have a few achievements under my belt. I know that's a pretty tall order, though, so let's just take it day by day!
For January, I am doing vanilla No-S. I am very sure that I will need at least one mod to make it a really realistic long term thing, but want to try it the whole way first. In addition, I have two exercise commitments I want to follow for this month: yoga 5 days a week and running 3. The amounts of time for either don't matter. And I am using a "flexible s-day" system for the exercise (NOT eating, that is straight-up vanilla) in that I have two S-days for yoga and four for running that I can use any time in the week, but once I use those up, any days that I don't exercise will be fail days. And if I exercise extra days, great!
