starting shovelglove again!

Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

starting shovelglove again!

Post by gratefuldeb67 » Wed Dec 11, 2013 8:48 pm

hi everyone! i just wanted to officially announce that, after years of not doing it, i'm doing shovelglove again!
started last friday, and i have had 4 successes so far...
i just added a shovelglove calender to my habitcals and my approach to this will be 3 days on, and one day off, schedule...
first three days were great and i had a lot of soreness after the first two, and by the third it hadn't gone away, so i took a day off... when i came back the following day my soreness was all gone and i had a great workout and was able to do a little more in terms of reps and general feeling of strength, than before... so i'm sticking with that routine instead of the 5 N days on with S days off...
i rarely post on the boards these days, but i have to say, i am still in AWE of how GREAT of a workout shovelglove is!! i had to write about it... i'm very excited i'm doing it again!! i'll update in a month or so :)

btw... @ reinhard if you are reading this... what's up with the underlined words in my text body that then lead to links on advertisements?
i didn't actually put those in myself and i'm not too happy with having my post altered like that automatically... what is that? i've been away for a while... maybe you are using google links or something to help fund the upkeep of the site?
just wondering... i'd prefer not to have auto generated ads come from the posts i leave here...

Congratulations on your successful shovelglove restart!

Those underlined words sound like maybe a virus? Anyone else seeing those? Ah, did a quick search and looks like your computer must be infected with something:
