No-s, what are you thankful for?
With Thanksgiving coming up, I thought it would be fun to have a thread on what we're thankful for.
I'll start with just a couple. One, I'm so glad for the support here. Everyone has been so encouraging! Two, I'm thankful that no-s is helping me learn self-control around food--something I didn't really think was possible forms. Not that days are always that way but many are now. It's been a life-changing year for me.

Great idea, Merry! I'm thankful that I can easily jump back on No S even when I've strayed or had lots of red days. No special planning or expense. Just wake up and start again. Also thankful for all the encouraging people here. Without you all, I'd probably be gorging myself and plotting to start the Atkins diet after the holidays. Oh,the horror!!!!
Merry I can only echo your thoughts. I am thankful for finding NoS and for the way it is changing my relationship with food. I was at a point where I was despairing of ever finding a way of doing this. And I am thankful for the support and advice on these boards.
If I may stray beyond NoS, I am thankful for my wonderful family and friends, and for my husband's current good health.

This is a great topic! I'm grateful for all of the people who reached out to me when I started posting here, and all of the encouragement I've continued to get. I'm thankful that a community like this exists, so I'll have some kind of accountability to look forward to every day.
I'm also thankful that No S helps me to feel calm and in control on the weekdays, even though I'm still working on those S days.
